1955 DeSoto Firedome

1955 DeSoto Firedome two door hardtop.  Better than barn fresh, this great car was recently taken out of 30 years covered storage.
Maintenance and repair invoices date back many years and illustrate the excellent care the car has always had.

During 2009 the car received a new and correct interior (beautiful upholstery and carpet).  New brakes, including master and wheel cylinders.  New ignitions parts, carburetor overhaul and professional tune up.  New battery.   Generator rebuilt.   And much more.
Dash and original gauges look good.  All work (40 lbs oil pressure).

Features include five chrome wire wheels, wide white walls, smooth V8 engine,  Powerflite transmission and power steering.  There are no alterations to the originality of the car.

The light blue finish and cream color top make it a stunning eye catcher wherever it goes.  And go it does.  The quiet, smooth engine starts easily and is responsive. The transmission shifts like new.  Brakes are strong and positive (no pulling).  What does it need?  Driving, to take the flat spots out of the tires after sitting for thirty years.  Or
better yet, a new set of radials. Bottom of the market priced at $35,000
